Ventral AI is a small team in Croatia, backed by the NVIDIA Inception Program, shipping computer-vision and vision-language systems into production. We hire rarely, but when we do, it's usually from people who reached out first.
What we look for

We don’t have a rigid hiring pipeline. If your work overlaps with ours and the fit feels right, we’ll make a role.
Taste for real deployments
Our work lands on roadside cameras, in waste trucks, and on industrial lines. We value people who want a detector they wrote to survive contact with rain, bad light, and flaky uplinks.
Breadth across the stack
From CUDA-level kernels to React dashboards, a small team means every engineer touches more than one layer. Favourite languages welcome; single-language purists less so.
Honest about what works
We'd rather ship a YOLO that hits production than a novel architecture that doesn't. Curiosity about the state of the art paired with pragmatism about what to deploy.
